The Big Dipper (Acoustic)
As I lay outside your breath forms
a bed of stars in the sky
and I don't know how to feel
Why do you always seem like you've got
things under control while I'm spinning
My breath escapes me as I hit the sand
which pulls me deeper into thought
Time after time, I don't know why I get
pulled to your bed in the sky
But I
I don't know why
I don't know how
every time I look into your eyes I'm pulled deeper
I try to run but my feet are nailed
to the bedposts in the sky
How high must I fly before I decide to fall
not knowing the pain to come
So now I live my life running from the
pain that is, "what if"
Someday I pray, I'll find the words to say
I trust you, and believe it myself
a bed of stars in the sky
and I don't know how to feel
Why do you always seem like you've got
things under control while I'm spinning
My breath escapes me as I hit the sand
which pulls me deeper into thought
Time after time, I don't know why I get
pulled to your bed in the sky
But I
I don't know why
I don't know how
every time I look into your eyes I'm pulled deeper
I try to run but my feet are nailed
to the bedposts in the sky
How high must I fly before I decide to fall
not knowing the pain to come
So now I live my life running from the
pain that is, "what if"
Someday I pray, I'll find the words to say
I trust you, and believe it myself
